Magic Yorkie accepts JPEG and PNG photos. For best results, use a clear, well-lit photo where your Yorkie is the main subject and fully visible. Photos taken in natural daylight with a relatively plain background tend to produce the most striking transformations. The maximum file size is 10 MB.
How many free images can I create?
Every visitor gets one free image generation per day, with no account or payment required. The free allowance resets at midnight. To generate more images in the same day, purchase a credit pack for unlimited access.
What are premium styles?
Premium styles — Cyberpunk, 1980s, Renaissance Art, Watercolor, Impressionist Art, and Blox Style — use a higher-detail AI model that produces richer, more painterly results. They cost 2 credits per generation instead of 1. Free styles (the other eleven options) cost 1 credit each when using credits.
How do credits work?
Credits are the in-app currency used for image and video generation beyond the daily free allowance. You purchase credits in packs — the more you buy at once, the better value you receive. 1 credit equals approximately €0.20 of value. Credits never expire. Free-tier image styles cost 1 credit each; premium styles cost 2 credits; video animations cost 18 credits.
How does video animation work?
Once you have a generated image you are happy with, navigate to the Animate tab. Choose one of four animation types — Walk, Jump, Roll Over, or Play — and tap Generate. Our AI creates a smooth five-second video clip of your Yorkie performing that action. The first video is free (one per device); subsequent videos cost 18 credits each. Videos are saved to your gallery and can be downloaded or shared.
Is my photo stored or shared?
Your original uploaded photo is sent to our AI service only to generate the artwork, and is not permanently stored on our servers. Generated images and videos are saved to your personal gallery within the app. We do not share your photos or generated content with third parties.
What dog breeds are supported?
Magic Yorkie is specifically designed and optimised for Yorkshire Terriers. The AI has been trained with prompts that reference the characteristic tan-and-blue coat, perky ears, and compact body of the Yorkie breed. Other small dogs with similar colouring may also produce good results, but Yorkshire Terriers will always look their best.
Can I use the app in other languages?
Yes. Magic Yorkie currently supports English, French, and Spanish throughout the app interface and AI chat feature. You can switch language at any time using the language selector in the top-right corner of the screen.

Can I share my generated images?
Yes — any image or video in your gallery can be shared directly from the app. On mobile, tap the share icon on any gallery item to open your device's native share sheet and send it to friends, post it to social media, or save it to your camera roll.
What makes a good photo for AI transformation?
The best results come from a clear, well-lit photo where your Yorkie is the main subject and facing roughly towards the camera. Natural daylight works best — avoid dark or blurry photos. A plain or simple background helps the AI focus on your dog. Close-up or mid-distance shots with the full face clearly visible tend to produce the most striking transformations.
Can I try the same photo in multiple art styles?
Yes — once you have uploaded a photo, you can generate as many style variations as you like. Simply select a different style and tap Generate again. Each new style counts as one generation (or uses one credit if you have used your free daily allowance). Trying your favourite photo in several styles is a great way to find the one that suits your Yorkie best.
How do accessories work with AI generation?
Accessories — such as bow ties, sunglasses, party hats, and fairy wings — are embedded directly into the AI prompt when you generate your artwork. This means the accessory becomes part of the artistic style, rather than being pasted on top. The result will always be unique, and some styles may interpret accessories more creatively than others. You can combine one accessory from each category at the same time.
Why does my generated image sometimes look different from what I expected?
AI image generation has a degree of creative variation built in — two generations from the same photo and style will never be identical. If the first result does not match your expectations, use the Try Again button to generate a fresh variation instantly without using an extra credit or free daily generation. The angle, expression, and colours in your original photo will influence the result, so trying a photo with a clearer view of your Yorkie's face can make a significant difference.
How long does image generation take?
Image generation typically takes between 10 and 30 seconds depending on the style and server load at the time. Premium styles may take slightly longer as they use a more detailed AI model. If a generation takes longer than 60 seconds, try again — very occasionally the AI service may be temporarily busy.
What is the Try Again button for?
The Try Again button generates a brand new variation of your image using the same photo and art style, without using an additional free daily generation or credit. It is ideal for when the first result is close to what you wanted but not quite right — each tap produces a completely fresh interpretation from the AI.
Can I animate any image, or only ones I created in the app?
You can animate both images you have generated within the app and new photos you upload directly on the Animate screen. For the best results, AI-generated artwork tends to animate better than raw photographs, as the animation model responds well to the clear outlines and vivid colours of the art styles.
What are the differences between the four animation types?
Walk produces a smooth, looping walking motion. Jump creates a playful upward leap with a landing. Roll Over shows your Yorkie rolling sideways in a classic dog trick. Play captures an energetic, bouncy play motion with tail wagging. Each animation is five seconds long and is generated fresh by the AI — results will vary slightly each time.
Why did my animation fail or take longer than expected?
Video animation is a more complex process than image generation and typically takes two to five minutes to complete. If your animation fails, the system will not charge a credit and you can try again immediately. Occasional failures are normal and are usually caused by temporary high demand on the AI animation service. Uploading a clearer, higher-contrast image tends to produce more reliable results.
How do I download my images and videos?
Open your Gallery, tap on any image or video, and use the download icon to save it to your device. On mobile, images save directly to your camera roll. Videos open in a new tab where you can save them to your device. You can also use the share icon to send an image or video directly to friends or post it to social media.
How does the AI chat feature work?
Open the Chat screen, give your Yorkie a name, and start a conversation. The AI responds in character as your named Yorkie — using playful dog mannerisms, tail wags, and a friendly personality. The chat can discuss any topic and maintains a conversation history of up to 16 messages to keep the context natural. Chat is available in English, French, and Spanish.
What accessories are available?
Accessories are grouped into five categories: Hats (party hat, bow, crown), Eyewear (sunglasses, heart glasses), Collars (star collar, bow collar), Jewelry (necklace), and Outfits (tuxedo, dress, fairy wings). You can select one item from each category at the same time, allowing you to create fun combinations like a crowned Yorkie in a tuxedo with heart glasses.
